Description

Welcome to Chelsea House, a spacious 6,140 square foot beautiful vacation home in a private setting close to downtown Breckenridge. Easily walk to the free shuttle, the ice-skating rink, shopping, and restaurants. Filled with amenities, Chelsea House is perfect for families and corporate groups with ample space for everyone to enjoy.

With its contemporary mountain décor, the open concept great room, kitchen, and dining area is perfect for entertaining and gathering with friends and family. The stone fireplace, high ceilings and lots of windows highlight the great room, along with comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV. French doors open to a lovely patio area for al fresco dining and seating in warmer months, or relax in the private outdoor hot tub year-round.

An expansive gourmet kitchen will delight the chefs in your group with lots of workspace, a large center island with a gas cooktop, updated appliances, and a breakfast bar. An elegant dining area sits adjacent, with seating for eight with wooded views from the many windows.

The primary king suite is on the main level, complete with a fireplace and sitting area, and a private bath with a jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. A private study with a large desk and office chair are available for anyone needing to get some remote work done. The upper level is home to four more cozy rooms – a king room with a shared hall bath and for all the kids - a bunk room and two double twin rooms. A loft on the upper level has a sitting area for reading and 2 desks.

Head down to the lower level for movie and game night in the family recreation room, well equipped with couches, a 52-inch flat-screen TV, wet bar with microwave and fridge, a ping-pong table, foosball, and billiards. Nearby is a king bedroom with an exclusive hall bath.

Other amenities include a 3-bay garage, parking for 5 cars total, a washer and dryer, a large mudroom off the garage for gear storage, and a basketball hoop on the blacktop driveway for summer fun.

4-WHEEL DRIVE REQUIRED in winter months.

Regretfully, weddings and events are not permitted in Moving Mountains homes.

ABOUT THE AREA
Should your group exceed 14, check out Rustic Timber Lodge (4 Bedroom) or Clare's in Town (5 Bedroom), both within walking distance of the Chelsea House. Rent all three for a corporate retreat or a family reunion.

SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.

GUEST SERVICES
Moving Mountains has a Guest Services Team, offering full-service vacation planning assistance prior to your trip. You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence, and guest services.

IN HOME AMENITIES
All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.

This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.

This property looked great online after scrolling through the photos, but when we got there, it was so much better! The management staff was top notch and helped us with many accommodations and great communication. When we walked into to garage (You can enter and exit through the huge 3 car garage by using the outside keypad. makes it easier than climbing the stairs to the front door, especially with gear) there was plenty of room for our vehicles and places to store our gear, snowboards and skis. As soon as you enter through the garage into the home, there is a huge mud room for all your ski/snowboard equipment, bags, jackets, cubbies and baskets for your stuff, A huge bench to sit and get ready and heated floors. through that door is the place we hung out the most, a huge game room with pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, a couple couches, tv and a bar area. Also, in this room was a large bedroom with queen bed and bathroom we were not aware was there from the original pictures. Upstairs is beautiful! A huge kitchen, 2 dining rooms (wasn't aware of second dining room) a full office to work if needed, giant living room with fireplace views of the mountain and runs on peak 8 (i think) through all the many windows and natural light. all the floors are heated which was awesome! access to the large Jacuzzi is on this floor. There were baskets by the door to the outside with plenty of towels which were heated by the floors. There is also a bathroom and the laundry room next to this door which makes it easy to change and also dry your stuff in the laundry room. The master bed room is also on this floor and is were I stayed. the room is huge with access to the jacuzzi as well. There is a large king bed and was the only disappointment I had during my whole stay. it was not comfortable. There is a fireplace in this room and 2 chairs to relax in front of the fire. Many windows with natural light and views of the mountain from a large window across from the bed. Inside the master is a hallway leading to the master bath. there is a enormous walk-in closet which is the size of a bedroom with plenty of storage. the bathroom has a large walk-in shower with plenty of hot water and a large 2 person Jacuzzi style tub. 2 separate vanities to get ready with plenty of room and separate room for the toilet. nice big windows with great views and still plenty of privacy. Upstairs had 4 more bedrooms, 2 baths and library sitting area.

Our family had a delightful experience staying with Moving Mountains at the Epic Retreat in Breckenridge. The home is beautifully appointed with everything that you could possibly need. The location is incredible, with easy ski access. Great service from the Moving Mountains team made this a five star experience all the way! Highly recommended!

The house worked out great - and the support from the management company was exceptional. The house had ample room and sleeping space for our family of 10. Due to the close proximity to town and hiking trails (both of which we enjoyed daily), we parked the vehicles in the garage and never used them during our stay. Property management team was highly, highly responsive to our needs.

Chelsea House is a great place to stay for large families. Plenty of room for everyone. Property managers made everything easy and were willing to help with anything you need, but still let you have your space.

Ideal location for people with varied interests. Great for people of all ages. Easy walking access to downtown area for shopping, restaurants, etc. lots of walking and biking trails, mountain hiking, fishing, and community activities. Chelsea House is very well equipped with wonderful .kitchen facilities, ample parking with three car garage. Any problems, your needs are met promptly.

This property is very well equipped for a family gathering, from the kitchen utensils, the dishware, the common area layout, the bedroom and bathrooms layout, the quality of the mattresses, the linens and towels; overall a high quality set up rental property. We were a group of 9 comprising 4 separate families and never felt cramped for space. The mud room area is large and appropriate for the property and can comfortably handle a large group’s needs. Paragon Lodging did an excellent job of maintenance and the property was spotless, no dust on window blinds or on closet shelving. A perfectly laid out, set up and maintained Breckenridge ski property. The location is very convenient to the bus route, a grocery is three blocks away, three blocks to the ice rink. A private location but convenient to the town and amenities.

Wonderful mansion for Breck

We had seven of us on a trip to Breckenridge in October. The place was perfect. There are six huge bedrooms. There is a big kitchen and huge common room with comfy couches and a TV. Downstairs, there is another sitting area with a TV, foosball, a pool table, and a table tennis table. The hot tub is nice. The location is great - a short drive or a long walk from town.

The house worked out well for our group. Location was key, being walking distance to Main st. Furnishings are fine but a little dated. Beds are very comfortable. The game room is a nice amenity but the foosball table is more of a kids toy than a real table, plastic and unplayable for adults that actually like playing foosball. Our group likes foosball (played a lot in college) and were very bummed by the ****** table. Overall a very nice home for a large group.

Could not have gone any smoother. Paragon was great with every aspect. Home was clean. Location was ideal being close enough to main street to walk and far enough away to enjoy the quiet. Would definitely stay again!

The pictures are very descriptive and the place was well furnished, and kitchen well-stocked with equipment, dishes, glasses, etc. Lots of room to gather as well as smaller areas and nooks for some privacy. Park for the kids right around the corner and easy walk into town.

The place was well laid out, kitchen was great. and the location was excellent. they was broken glass several places on the floor that the cleaners did not find when they did their cleaning, but our bare feet did. It would be nice to use the owners bikes( we have done this in the past with other home rentals). the hot tub was clean, however it was to hot to go into, it took days to cool it down,

Loved the Chelsea House! My friends and I had an an amazing experience. The house was everything we could have hoped for and more. Tons of space/beds, hot tub, ping pong, foosball, billiards. Only about a 10-15 min walk from downtown Breck. Never needed to call an uber or drive to get anywhere in town. While the neighbors house was close by, the Chelsea still felt secluded and we never heard or saw the neighbors. Right next to a nice trail too. The customer service was excellent - I recommend using the phone app they send out. Provides all the info you need in one convenient location and they message you with checkin and checkout instructions. They also check in via the app just to see how you are doing and if you need anything. Fantastic! I would 100% stay at this location or another Paragon location again. Loved my experience and would recommend to anyone.

The house was great overall, well appointed and stocked. Unfortunately the garage door was broken so we were unable to use it and that made parking a little tight. Also one of the ovens did not work properly. However these were minor issues, we had a great stay, enjoying the hot tub, game room and the owners supply of movies.

Wonderful home! Very convenient walk to Main Street and close to Carter Park for sledding and a short drive up to Peak 8, less than a mile. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Stayed with family, total of 11 adults and two kids. Plenty of room to spread around. The house is very well maintained and nice, the hot tub works just fine. Close proximity to downtown (1-2 minute drive, 10 minute walk), a 1.5 miles away from peak 9 and walking distance to ski shuttle to other bases. Highly recommend.

We used Chelsea House as a place where 13 family members from both Detroit and the UK could meet up and celebrate the New Year.

The house lived up to everything we hoped and some, it is perfectly positioned for town, and the slopes, but far away enough to make you feel you are in the country. I would definitely recommend Chelsea House.

We had an awesome time during Thanksgiving in the Chelsea house. Our family of 11 was very comfortable and the kitchen is large enough for everyone to eat together. The games downstairs were a hit with all the adults. The location is awesome.

8 guys traveled from Sydney Australia for a week in Breckeridge and thankfully picked out Chelsea House and booked through Parragon Lodging!

The place was absolutely perfect for all of us and easily accommodated our group in spacious and beautiful surroundings with all the facilities in the house to make it feel like home away from home.

Bedrooms and bathrooms were great, there was a laundry room that was easy for 8 men to use (!!!), we ate in a couple of nights and breakfast there daily & the kitchen and dining room easily accommodated us all, we used the spa every night and the music and entertainment system was fab.

Everything we needed was on hand, we were only a short walk into Breck and also to the free shuttle bus to the slopes.

The team at Parragon Lodging were brilliant both prior to our trip and during it. Prior they gave us all the information we need to make getting there and getting into the place easy. During our stay we had a couple of very minor issues and they had people come around very promptly to attend to them. The people on the phone at Parragon were so friendly, personable and helpful for us.

If you are looking for a place for a break away with a group of friends or a couple of families, then I honestly couldn't recommend this place or Parragon lodging more highly!

If our wives ever let us get away on a trip like this again (!) we will certainly heading back to Chelsea House!

Fabulous house and experience

We had an "Above expectations" experience at Chelsea House. The house is fabulous for the 3 families we had together over Christmas. First of all, the location is great for walking into town, or to the ski shuttle at the ice rink. Walking to shuttle is less than 5 mins. The house itself is awesome. Loved the large mudroom off the garage, which has a large storage area for all ski clothes and equipment for everyone. It it so well designed. The main living areas are spacious and cosy at the same time. LOVED the large family room onto the kitchen, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could need. Kitchen really functional and large seating area as well as the dining room next to it. The outside hot tub was clean and hot and loved it. Lots of towels provided. The house is very well equipped for everyone (towels and bed linen and cleaning). The main attraction is that each family had a floor each. The lower level basement area has great double bedroom and bathroom as well as the amazing games room. The main master suite on the first floor is HUGE, and the closet is bigger than you will need. Fireplace and cosy. We loved the second floor - two wings, each with two bedrooms and a bathroom. Large open sitting area in between with balcony and views of the mountain. We are very picky and have had a lot of 5* vacactions, but this was up there with them. PARAGON did a great job too. Loved the app and the people were great. We had a small problem with the garage door code. Fixed in minutes. Could not be happier. Recommend for sure!

The perfect home to host our large family

My family came to visit us here in Breckenridge and our home is too small for the group so we rented the Chelsea House. This home was absolutely perfect with nice size living areas, a very equipped kitchen, plenty of seating for dining in, the fun lower level living area/ game space, and the hot tub. With an in town location going to and from the house on foot or in a car was very easy. Thank you so much!

Other than some of the bed setups in some of the bedrooms (only twin beds in some of the bedrooms), this place was a great place for the wedding party to stay. The place is so large the groom and groomsmen the bride and bridesmaids were able to get ready in separate areas of the house in privacy and not see each other. Where most pictures of property make rentals look larger than they really are, this place is larger than the pictures.

We found the house to be the perfect setting for our family...seven adults, an infant and a toddler. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and really was the "heart" of the home. The bedrooms and bathrooms allowed for everyone to have their own "space". The dining areas were inviting. The common spaces were comfortable and spacious.
Paragon Lodging was professional and responsive from initial inquiry, through the booking process, and throughout our stay.

The property was as described. The location was in a wooded neighborhood setting, within easy walking distance to town, yet removed from the crowds that come with the season.

A Large House, Great for Families, Close to Town

We ended up in this house after rental agency lost reservation for original house we booked, and placed us here. Although we were originally upset by the change in houses, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. This house was perfect for the three families staying in it, and the location could not have been any better. Kids loved all the "toys" in the house (e.g., video games, movies, board games, ping pong, pool table, close to park, close to hiking trails). We would definitely recommended it and stay there again. As for the rental agency, they were professional in how they treated us after losing the original reservation, and not only upgraded us in house quality for free, but got us a gift certificate for a nice dinner in town. Overall, a very good experience.

Awesome place for our family to stay for a ski vacation. Easy access to town and to slopes. Lovely home with all amenities!

The Chelsea House was perfect for our family of eleven and our 50th anniversary celebration. The children loved the amenities (pool table, foosball, ping pong and basketball net) plus just running around in the large space. The kitchen was well stocked and was the rest of the house. Lots of books, games, and videos. The master suite was very luxurious. The setting was perfect for our professional photo shoot. There are hiking trails, bike and running trails right outside. Also the house is convenient to most activities.

House was great for our group-3 families including 5 children ranging from ages 1-9, and 8 adults. We had plenty of room and never felt crowded. Walking distance from the downtown which is an added bonus.

We were delighted with our accommodations. The house was everything we hoped for and completely equipped. Paragon Lodging did a great job of communicating with us and made it easy to check in and out. I would definitely use them and stay here again.
