As the elevator opens directly into Cloudcatcher Peak Penthouse you are greeted with spectacular views of Vail Mountain. This exquisite residence is in the Towers at Lion Square Lodge, steps from Lionshead Village and the Eagle Bahn Gondola. The open main living space has impressive light wood cathedral ceilings and walls of windows. Natural light streams into the two living spaces, dining area and kitchen.
Modern decor exudes elegance and comfort. The main living space is ideal for gathering around for conversation or reading in front of a gas fireplace. Tucked away is a separate space with a big screen TV. In warmer weather step out onto the expansive deck that wraps around the living and dining rooms.
Chefs will enjoy preparing meals in the state-of-the-art kitchen with gourmet stainless appliances, including two dishwashers, a warming oven next to the main oven, wine refrigerator and two drink cooler drawers. There is also a gas grill on the deck. A large kitchen island has 5 bar stools, and 10 guests can dine at the dining table that has views of the ski slopes.
Cloudcatcher Peak’s four luxurious bedrooms are all on the lower level of the penthouse and all have access to the balcony. A Sleep Number king bed with separate controls for each side is the centerpiece of the primary bedroom. Relax in front of the gas fireplace or on the balcony. The spa-like ensuite bath features a double vanity and steam shower. The primary also has a workspace with a desk and chair, TV, and a safe in the closet.
There are two more king bedrooms, each with TVs, blackout shades, and ensuite bathrooms with single vanities and showers. The children in your group will delight in the bunk room with two sets of twin-over-full bunks and ensuite bathroom with a shower.
Guests will have access to the building’s onsite pool, hot tub and fitness facilities. There is also a ski locker room that guests can use. Guests can also store their skis and snowboards free of charge at the Lion Square Lodge ski valet across from the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola.
For guests’ comfort and convenience, the penthouse features a washer/dryer, air conditioning, and each bedroom has its own thermostat. There are smart TVs, a Sonos sound system, and high-speed Internet. There is parking for two vehicles in dedicated, reserved spaces in the building’s underground garage.
