Why choose Paragon Lodging by Moving Mountains?

Paragon Lodging by Moving Mountains is the premier vacation rental provider in Breckenridge, Colorado. We opened our doors in 2010 with the goal of providing high-end vacation rentals to travelers. Our years of experience in the hospitality industry have given us the knowledge needed to provide you with a unique experience from start to finish. In addition, our entire team is local and able to offer personal recommendations based on actual experience as well as provide in-person assistance should an emergency arise during your stay. We visit each one of our vacation rental homes frequently so that we’re familiar with the amenities and details of our homes. This allows us to find you the perfect property for your stay with us.

What is the minimum night stay?

Our Minimum Night stay varies based on the property and season. Throughout most of the calendar year, our homes will require between four and seven nights. In the off-season (October & May), some homes will allow two and three-night stays with a higher cleaning fee.

Am I required to check-in on a specific day of the week?

No, we do not have any requirements for you to check-in on a specific day of the week – as long as you meet the minimum night stay and the home is available, you may check-in when you choose.

What is Paragon’s Deposit Policy? What forms of payment do you accept?

Upon reserving your stay with us, we will require 50% of the booking total – the remaining 50% of the total will be due 60 days prior to your arrival. If you are arriving within 60 days of your arrival, we will collect 100% of the reservation upon booking.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Cards as well as bank transfer and cash.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

In the case of cancellation by the Guest, all payments are non-refundable. Refunds are in the sole discretion of MM, and if any kind of refund is offered, Paragon Lodging by Moving Mountains may retain 20% to cover administrative costs and credit card fees.

We highly recommend that Guests purchase travel insurance.  We offer travel insurance at the time of reservation.  Travel insurance may be added anytime up to final payment, 60 days prior to arrival, although additional pre-existing condition coverage applies if the insurance is added within 21 days of reservation confirmation.  For reservations made less than 30 days prior to arrival, travel insurance may be purchased at the time of reservation to cover pre-existing conditions.

Is there a Security Deposit?

Accidental Rental Damage Coverage (ARDC), costing $199.00, is required for all reservations.  ARDC provides Guests with up to $10,000 coverage for accidental damage that occurs during the stay.  ARDC does not cover intentional damage or damage caused by careless actions such as wearing shoes inside a home, failing to close a garage door, allowing unsupervised children to use an elevator or other house rules outlined in the House Guide for that Home. Guests will be liable and charged for damage to the Home and contents occurring during the stay that is not covered by ARDC.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes, Paragon Lodging by Moving Mountains enforces a strict age policy of 25 years old. If your group does not meet this requirement upon check-in, we will not allow check-in and all monies will be forfeited. Families with children are allowed. All College Groups will be turned away.

Check-in/Check-out times:

Our check-in time is after 4 pm and our check-out time is prior to 10 am. Occasionally, we can accommodate requests for an early arrival/late departure. If this is something you’re interested in, please contact us so we may put in a request. If available, the cost for an early arrival or late departure will vary based on your rental home.  Please call the office for additional options.

Please be sure to bring a valid state issued ID, Driver's License or current Passport as we require an authorized form of identification at check-in.

What if there is an issue during my stay – what kind of help can I expect?

There is a local Paragon Lodging by Moving Mountains Staff Member on call 24 hours a day should an issue arise during your stay with us. Upon your arrival, we will provide instructions on how to reach our after-hours line should you need to speak with someone after our office has closed for the day. The person on-call for the evening will determine if the issue needs to be dealt with right away or if it is something that can wait until the following morning. Regardless of the issue, you will always speak to a live, local Paragon Lodging by Moving Mountains Representative.

Does Paragon Lodging by Moving Mountains offer Housekeeping Services?

Yes, your home will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to your arrival and upon your departure – this is included in your booking. If you’d like to add additional housekeeping services (with an additional charge) during your stay, please contact us and we can discuss the options available and arrange a day and time that works best for you.

Is a 4-Wheel Drive Car Necessary?

Yes, absolutely – Breckenridge is located in a High Alpine Environment and Four Wheel Drive is required in the Winter months (November through April). Note that during a severe storm, CDOT will implement a “Passenger Vehicle Chain Law” on roadways in Colorado. You will be required to have chains or an AutoSock Regardless if you have snow tires or 4WD/AWD. Does my rental home have air conditioning?

No...but before you feel like there is no escaping the heat, Breckenridge has some of the most wonderful weather year-round! When we say year-round, we mean it! In the winter months, it's all about the snow. In the summer, the day temperatures average the mid-70s and the night temps, low 50s.

We recommend opening the windows in the evenings and early morning to allow the fresh Colorado mountain air in and get a nice cool cross breeze throughout the home. If you feel that just isn't enough, all homes have fans to really get a breeze going.

Does Breckenridge offer public transportation?

Yes! Breckenridge and Summit County offer transportation throughout the Town of Breckenridge and Summit County via the Breck Free Ride or the Summit Stage. Both are free to ride and have multiple pick-up/drop-off locations throughout the area. Many are within walking distance to several of our homes! Contact one of our Reservation Specialists for a list of homes within walking distance to a shuttle stop.

Breckenridge also has Uber and other local taxi services. In addition – some of our homes offer a complimentary shuttle service through Black Mountain Limo. Please contact a Reservation Specialist to learn more about our homes that offer this service.

Can my dog come on vacation with me?!

We are happy to provide many options that will accommodate both you and your dog! All pet guests are required to attain written authorization from Paragon Lodging by Moving Mountains at the time of reservation. View more pet-friendly rental information.

All approved pet stays are subject to a taxable pet cleaning fee of $950 payable at the time of reservation to cover the cost of returning the home to a pet allergy-free environment. Dogs are the only pets allowed.
