Welcome to Breckenberg Haus, a 4-bedroom luxury home located in the serene Whispering Pines neighborhood of Blue River. Breckenberg Haus is an ideal retreat for a variety of groups looking for privacy, views, and desirable amenities such as an outdoor hot tub, ultra high-speed WIFI, and a billiard table.

Step through the front door into the massive great room featuring cathedral ceilings, cozy seating, large TV, a gas fireplace, and plenty of space for everyone to lounge in. Enjoy spectacular, unobstructed views of Mount Quandary through the floor-to-ceiling windows while relaxing by the fire – or challenge your friends to an exciting game of cards at the game table.

Just beyond the great room, you’ll find the kitchen and dining area, open to one another. The kitchen offers plenty of workspaces, a large island with bar seating, double ovens, a gas range, and stainless appliances. Chefs of all levels will be delighted to work in this fully-equipped, spacious kitchen. The dining table seats 8 total with 4 additional seats at the kitchen island – perfect for the kids to enjoy their dinner while the adults dine at the table. A washer and dryer are located on the main level.

Retreat to the private back deck and enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub while taking in the views of Mount Quandary – the deck also features a gas firepit (summer months only) and BBQ gas grill, with outdoor seating available in summer.

A beautiful primary bedroom suite is located on the main level – this spacious bedroom suite is complete with a king bed, gas fireplace, and private deck access. The primary ensuite offers dual vanity, a large jetted tub, and a separate walk-in shower.

On the upper level are the three comfortable bedrooms, two king suites, and one family suite with two queen beds and two twin beds. All three rooms have private ensuite baths and TVs.

Enjoy a game or movie night in the lower level family room, sure to be a popular spot with billiards, foosball, a game table, a wet bar, comfortable couches, and a large TV. Remote workers and all guests will stay well connected as this home enjoys ultra high-speed WIFI.

Regretfully, weddings and events are not permitted in Moving Mountains homes.

ABOUT THE AREA
Just south of Breck’s iconic Main Street sits Blue River, a peaceful riverside community focused on preserving natural beauty. You’ll discover endless outdoor adventures in Blue River, year-round including hiking/biking and fishing in the summer months and snowshoeing in winter. The nearby Mohawk Lakes are the perfect place to scope out wildlife and get your daily outdoor adventure checked off.

Breckenridge is easily accessible by car (or shuttle!) in minutes (6 miles). Located two blocks from Summit Stage Shuttle Stop - take the shuttle to the Gondola lot to hit the slopes or stroll around Breckenridge. Shuttle has convenient morning and evening pick-up/drop-off times - NOTE: This is a public transit shuttle. It is not affiliated with the Complimentary Winter Shuttle. This is an additional option for transportation.

This home has a 2-bay heated garage with parking for six vehicles in total. 4-wheel drive is required in the winter months.

SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.

You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence, and guest services.

IN HOME AMENITIES
All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.

This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.
